London Mission - Application for City of Gold Coast

The City of Gold Coast is sponsoring up to 10 places for local founders & investors to join our London Mission.

If you are a Gold Coast investor or founder of a startup or scale-up early-stage technology business then you may be eligible to apply for a funded place on our upcoming mission to the UK.

Successful applicants will have their full mission participation fee sponsored (valued at $7,990 per person) which includes 6 nights accommodation in London for London Tech Week.

Eligibility criteria:

To be eligible to apply for support in relation to this mission, applicants must:

Be over the age of 18 as at 31 March 2023.

Be the founder or co-founder of a startup or scale-up business which has it's primary place of work on the Gold Coast *

Be willing, fit and fully able to travel to London and fully participate in all aspects of the mission from 11-17 June 2023.

Be willing to share data, insights, in final report and post-mission event.

Be able to arrange and pay for their own flights, transfers, travel insurance, meals, and other personal travel incidentals and expenses.

This Mission is being supported by the City of Gold Coast.

* We consider a startup or scale-up to be a high-growth potential, early-stage technology venture. If there are multiple co-founders, and one or more live and work outside the Gold Coast, these can still apply as long as the bulk of active participants in the business work on the Gold Coast. We would also consider applications by investors on a case-by-case basis.

All applications are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:

I understand the mission inclusions and exclusions, and that I am responsible for organising and paying for my own return airfares, airport transfers, travel insurance, most meals and any other personal expenses or incidentals.
I consent to my application information being shared with the City of Gold Coast.
If successful I consent to my company name and my personal name being used in any associated media or social media announcements about the mission.
I understand and accept that the selection and awarding of any funded places on the mission are at the sole discretion of the City of Gold Coast and Tribe Global Ventures Pty Ltd, and all such decisions are final.
