About Michael Dempsey

In 2014 Mick sold his fintech company Ezidebit to US-based Global Payments for $305 million, personally walking away with about $150 million from the transaction. At the time of sale, Ezidebit was handling $3.5 billion worth of payments for 16,000 businesses across Australia and New Zealand, and had 130 staff across the two countries and has just opened an office in Hong Kong. Today, Mick is an active angel and venture investor, and works to support our portfolio companies at Tribe Global Ventures as a Venture Partner and shareholder.
